Mardis Gras and President's Day

This is just another reason I really like the town we're in now. In honor of Mardis Gras there's a little parade called "The Krewe of Barkus" where all the dogs in town strut their stuff. It also gets quite patriotic. I snapped a photo of the Statue of Liberty, but wasn't quick enough when George Washington (a labrador) made his appearance.
